Product description
Here at Vondom, we find ourselves inspired by the oriental culture, through Ramon Esteve´s latest creation, a chair that resembles the kimono´s patterns.
This idea originated from a traditional, but at the same time a futuristic design, hence this reference to Japanese clothing, as these fabrics combine symbolism and pieces of oriental history.
This piece is manufactured with polycarbonate, a material that gives it a unique appearance with faceted lines and a range of transparencies, combining a geometrical and functional design.
These peculiarities create a series of reflections and translucencies, similar to the sparkling and the magic of a diamond. A design with a character that, due to its composition, fits elegantly in a multitude of both contemporary and classic surroundings.

Concept
Vondom pays tribute to the culture of the Orient in the latest creation from Ramón Esteve: a chair inspired by the shape of the kimono. The idea stems from a proposal for a design that fuses the futuristic with the traditional. Hence the reference to the Japanese garment, whose fabrics are imbued with symbolism and history.
The piece is shaped from polycarbonate, a material that gives it a unique appearance of faceted lines and an interplay of transparencies, resulting in a design both geometric and functional.
These features generate a series of reflections and highlights reminiscent of the brightness and magic of a diamond. The materiality of the design enables it to fit elegantly in contemporary and classic spaces alike.
